Sustainability, by definition, is the capacity to endure. These days when we talk about sustainable businesses, no longer are we referring merely to an organization's capability to meet the bottom line and maintain enough profits to stay in business. Now when we talk about sustainable businesses, or Green Business, we also refer to the impact that a business has on its surrounding environment, society and community in addition to the economic impact.

With the recent upsurge in the popularity of the green movement, MDBC feels that now is a good time to discuss the changes, challenges and new opportunities available on "Learning to Go Green". MDBC will continue its successful and unique Members - for - Members (M4M) event with a M4M on "Learning to Go Green" and sustainability which will help companies improve or increase their green initiatives or get started on the road to becoming a green business.
