This workshop will give participants a good grounding which will lead to improved sales team effectiveness. Most Heads of Sales are “accidental” sales managers. They were promoted into leading the sales department because they were the sales champions of the company, not because they have shown good management skills. Sales managers could, therefore, lack preparation for their task. Many companies have a sales training budget but few allocate training funds for the people leading the sales teams. And we wonder why sales doesn’t achieve its targets. Find out how to address this issue at this interactive workshop with Sales Management professional Lion Kraaijbeek, who has over 25 years of Sales Management experience, providing you with a 360 degree view on Sales Management.
This workshop will help you set up the proper process to improve the situation. It will address the central question of how to best manage and control a sales force in order to achieve your sales goals. Lion will show you how to provide sales leadership with a methodology to deliver winning results! The workshop will also help Heads of Sales shift their focus from the outcomes to the inputs that drive success.
The first part of the workshop will show you the building blocks of sales management, the possible processes a sales manager can choose from, the specific roles salespeople play in a company will be reviewed, the correct metrics in order to measure results will be identified, and finally, how to manage it all. The second part of the workshop is about implementation. Small groups will be formed and participants will apply what has been learned to real life situations. Once all participants understand how it works, they will have the confidence to implement it in their work and improve sales results. This workshop is of added value for anyone currently working in Sales, or has an interest in Sales Management Techniques.

Lion has 25 years of sales and sales management experience in a variety of industries across Southeast Asia. He has served in a number of companies in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, ranging from local startups to established multinational organizations. Lion is a multiple award winning salesperson. As a result of his sales acumen, was promoted into a sales management position while at Regus, the world leader in flexible work space solutions.
He increased his sales management expertise through continuous self-study and successfully designed his own training modules. He now shares his knowledge, expertise and experience with sales teams and sales managers in the corporate world, helping them improve sales and revenue.
