Events

Events organised by MDBC include Business Luncheon or Breakfast-presentations, seminars, member-briefings, meetings & dialogue sessions with relevant Malaysian institutions and visits to companies, exhibitions or projects.

Numerous social networking events are organised together with other Business Associations and Chambers of Commerce to further extent networking opportunities.

Together with the Economic Section of the Netherlands Embassy and industry associations, MDBC has also initiated participation in various Trade Exhibitions. MDBC-members have been invited to present their products & services within a larger "Holland Pavilion"

In 2010, MDBC members received 36 event invitations (an average of 3 a month!).  MDBC organized 22 events for our members and co-organized another 5 events in partnership with EUMCCI and Amcham.  Another 4 EUMCCI events and 5 events hosted by the Netherlands Embassy and other organizations were also communicated to our members.  The variety of activities and events continues to be appreciated by our members, as well as the fact that different representatives from all levels in the organisation could attend different events, based on the topic / theme or 'level'.  The wide variety of event venues also contributed to the attractiveness of our activities.
