Student Internship Program

The Student Internship Program (SIP) was created by the Malaysian Dutch Business Council (MDBC) as yet another way to increase the ties between the Netherlands and Malaysia by bringing enthusiastic Dutch students to Malaysia for internships with MDBC member companies.  Founded in 2004 with 2 batches of students each year (in February and September), it is fast approaching the tremendous amount of 200 placed interns.  Interns are placed for 5 months at either MDBC itself, or at one of our 175 member companies varying from multinationals to SMEs.

Together with our 9 partner Universities / Colleges of Applied Sciences (Hoger Beroeps Onderwijs), we are able to offer a wide range of studies such as:
  • Business related
  • Communications & Marketing related
  • Financial
  • Hospitality
  • ICT
  • Life Sciences
  • Logistics
  • Timber Trade related
    and many more!
Some exceptions might apply to students of Dutch Universities of Academic and Scientific education, for foreign / international students at Dutch universities and for Malaysian students.  Click here for more info.
