MDBC: 23rd AGM over FY 2019
September 24 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Dear MDBC Members,
The Chairman and Board of Directors of the Malaysian Dutch Business Council (MDBC), would like to invite you for MDBC’s 23rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the Financial Year ending 31 December 2019.
Due to our current M&A, this year’s AGM will still have to take place ‘live’, with a quorum to be present physically, but with the ‘new normal’ and SOPs that we have to adhere to, we also intend to make this a hybrid event by making a live feed available so that all other members can attend virtually. So for the first time ever, MDBC members in other parts of Malaysia (or globally) will be able to follow the AGM proceedings, albeit without voting rights. In the AGM notice you will find a proposal to amend some of our M&A articles to be more in line with current (virtual) developments.
For this year’s pre – AGM informative session, we are honored to invite you for a talk by Yang Berhormat Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed (Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department for Economic Affairs). YB Dato’ Sri Mustapa will be speaking on Malaysia’s medium – term plans to strengthen the country’s economy as well as preparations for the 12th Malaysia Plan.
