MDBC / ADCN: Serious Gaming
October 29 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Dear MDBC Members,
Is it possible to face the challenges of today while keeping track of the developments of tomorrow?
The ASEAN Dutch Chamber Network (ADCN) consisting of ADB – DutchCham, the Dutch Business Association Vietnam (DBAV), the Dutch Business Network Indonesia (DBN), the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines (DCCP), the Malaysian Dutch Business Council (MDBC), and the Netherlands Thai Chamber of Commerce (NTCC), join hands once more for an ADCN webinar, titled: “Serious Gaming: Fun While Solving Serious Challenges”, hosted by NTCC.
Serious games can be distinguished from regular games by their purpose. Regular games are developed primarily for fun and recreation, but in contrast, the main goals of a serious game are to learn and generate changes in behavior. Our expert speaker, Nicolien Hendrickx (Senior Business Development Manager – Logistics, TNO), will show a variety of possibilities gaming has to offer to the logistics & transportation sector by zooming into some practical logistics games developed by TNO, often together with one or more partners.
Date: Thursday, 29 October
Time: 17:00 – 18:00 hrs (Malaysia)
11:00 – 12:00 hrs (the Netherlands)
