MDBC: HR Forum 2020 – Well being

Dear MDBC members,

MDBC is proud to present our annual MDBC Human Resources Forum 2020.  Under the current MCO, there has been a lot of focus on the different aspects of HR.  We are, therefore, dividing the Forum into three sessions: Well Being, Employment Matters, and Leadership, WFH & Team Building.

Kicking off the HR Forum is this Friday’s (15 May) webinar session on Well Being.  A special line up featuring MDBC members from International SOS, doctorDB and Senz Strategy Consulting, who will focus on:
* Various aspects of the legal requirements for employee care;
* An online ‘go – to’ platform for healthcare related information, products & services;
* Helping employees gain mind and body positivity; and
* Physical and mental wellness.

Moderator & Speaker:

David Ng
Managing Director, International SOS Malaysia

David oversees all of International SOS’s businesses encompassing over 400 employees.

Prior to International SOS, David wast the Managing Director for DHL Malaysia for four years where he successfully led an organisation of 800 people.  His success earned him the Malaysia Business Award for Outstanding Leadership in Logistics.

David holds a BSC in Civil Engineering (Surrey University) and an MBA (Warwick University).  He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales.

Joanne Seaton
Co – Founder & Chief Executive Officer, doctorDB

Joanne is an accomplished business leader with 20 years of diversified experience in various industries including Banking, IT, Fitness & Entertainment.

Prior to Angstrohm Technologies, Joanne has spent over 6 years at Macquarie Bank.  She is also a committee member of Outsourcing Malaysia (a chapter of PIKOM – Malaysia’s National ICT Industry association).

Joanne holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.

 

Drs. Karin van Zuilen
Strategy & Change Consultant
, Senz Strategy Consulting

Karin’s prior experience includes working as a Global Marketing Director in the highly competitive pharmaceutical and consumer health industry.  As the Founder of Senz Strategy Consulting, she works as a Strategy and Change Expert with a focus on organizational transformation.  She has over 12 years of consulting & coaching experience across Asia, North America, and Europe, in a wide variety of industries of different sizes.

She has a unique ability to inspire people, put ambition back into teams, and place organizations at a competitive edge in the market.  Interest in people, motivation, entrepreneurship, and innovation are typical for her.  She knows what it takes to drive change and become a global market leader.  The combination of industry experience and deep knowledge of psychology, innovation, and marketing strategy helps executives achieve results quickly and effectively.  Karin is Dutch and has lived and worked in Malaysia since the beginning of 2013.

Karin’s qualifications: Master Degree in Marketing, Pharmacy, Business Economics, Certified Holistic Psychologist, Certified Systemic Coach, and Certified Core Quadrants© trainer.
