According to MDBC Executive Director Marco Winter, “MISA has, and continues to be, a unique awards program due to the focus on the sharing of best practices; it leads to the development of a more complex understanding of innovation and sustainability. Over the years, we have kept strict guidelines to maintain the integrity and transparency of the program and ensured that we continue to innovate and improve the way we share best practices. In addition to being a learning experience for all, it also provides a platform for different stakeholders to connect and engage, leading to business development, the creation of new innovative and sustainable projects, or business concepts.”
