Karin Mössenlechner, Marco Winter (Executive Director, MDBC), Mirjiam van Thiel (Honorary Treasurer, MDBC / Finance Director, Dutch Lady Milk Industries), Dr. David Ross Appleton (Head of Biotechnology and Breeding, Sime Darby Plantation Research & Development), Thomas van Dorsten (Communications Executive, MDBC), Sahil Sharma (Consultant, &samhoud), and Isma Husein (Consultant, &samhoud).

The MDBC Innovation & Sustainability Awards (MISA) evolved out of the groundbreaking MDBC Sustainability Awards (MSA).  Not ‘just’ an awards program, the MSA began as a way to showcase the best practices of MDBC member companies in the area of sustainability with an emphasis on the sharing of knowledge.  It became a platform for learning and elevating the understanding of sustainability and best practices in the local business environment.

With the growth of the Awards program and our own deeper understanding of Sustainability, the decision was made to rebrand to the MDBC Innovation & Sustainability Awards.

Sponsors of MISA have a genuine interest in innovation and a deep belief in sustainability.  They believe in our goal of helping the community to develop a more complete and complex understanding of innovation and sustainability through the sharing of best practices.  Many have supported and sponsored the Awards program since it was first established in 2011 and MDBC was delighted to welcome new sponsors for 2017.

To our sponsors and supporters: Thank you for your on going support of innovation and sustainability!
