Netherlands Chambers International (NCI)

The Netherlands Chambers International (NCI) was officially launched on 29 September 2026. As a global association of independent Dutch Chambers of Commerce abroad, NCI actively supports Dutch entrepreneurs with international ambitions. Comprising well – established chambers located in high – growth markets, NCI leverages extensive local knowledge, business networks, and government connections to provide companies with a seamless “soft landing” in foreign markets. The network currently spans 18 chambers across five continents — Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia — with strategic plans for further expansion.

This global association evolved directly from the NL Business Hub Network. These hubs originally united prominent local service providers and established Dutch entrepreneurs to deliver on – the – ground market entry support.

As a premier regional hub, the Malaysian Dutch Business Council (MDBC) is a proud member of NCI. In 2019, MDBC made history as the second Dutch chamber globally to receive the prestigious NLinBusiness quality mark. The accreditation ceremony was attended by the Netherlands Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Stef Blok. Demonstrating a continuous commitment to operational excellence, MDBC was also among the first to be re – accredited in 2023. This quality mark evaluates rigorous standards in membership diversity, governance, financial transparency, and service quality, ensuring hubs operate as dedicated non – profit entities focused on strengthening bilateral trade relations.

Together with NCI, MDBC informs, inspires, and connects international businesses worldwide. Working alongside local governments, Dutch Embassies, and Consulate Generals, we offer an extensive suite of services, including:

  • Market exploration and business development
  • Job matching via our exclusive Career Membership
  • B2B matchmaking, networking events, and seminars
  • Corporate branding, hot – desking, and virtual office spaces
  • Legal and regulatory guidance
