2 Day Visit to Johor

Dear MDBC members,

The Malaysian Dutch Business Council (MDBC) has the pleasure of inviting members of MDBC and DutchCham Singapore to a two day program in Johor. This is organized by MDBC in close cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Malaysia.  Available space is limited, registration is required.

Date: Thursday, 6 November – Friday, 7 November
Venue: Johor

Thursday, 6 November
Visit to Terberg Tractors Malaysia
Location: Terberg Manufacturing & Assembly (TMA) – Production plant of Terberg Terminal Tractors for the Asia Pacific Region, located in Pasir Gudang.

10:30 hrs: Welcome to members of the MDBC Johor Chapter
11:00 hrs: Dialogue for MDBC Johor Chapter with H.E. Jaap Werner (Netherlands Ambassador), Embassy colleagues, and MDBC.
(This Dialogue is Closed Door by invite only for Dutch companies based in Johor.)

Location: Invest Malaysia Facilitation Centre – Johor (IMFC-J), Carnelian Tower 1, Menara Delima Satu, Jalan Forest City 1, Pulau Satu, Gelang Patah

15:00 hrs: Briefing by and Dialogue with Invest Johor (Inclusive of developments in Johor and the Johor – Singapore Special Economic Zone (JSSEZ) with MIDA, IRDA, and other local parties)

17:30 hrs: Reception hosted by the Netherlands Embassy and MDBC

09:30 hrs: Briefing & Tour: Construction Plant (plate cutting and welding) and Assembly Plant (WIP on final products). Viewing of the testing process

Late Morning: Visit to HQ Pack
Location: 89A Jalan I – Park 1/6, Kawasan Perindustrian I – Park, Kulai.
11:30 hrs: Welcome, Briefing, and Tour of Facilities
12:30 hrs: Lunch
14:00 hrs: End of Program

o    Assembly Line: Observe the final integration of parts into a complete tractor unit.
o    Quality Assurance Station: Learn about the rigorous testing and inspection processes each vehicle undergoes to meet Terberg’s global standards of excellence.

Stinis is a family business to which six generations of talented engineers have devoted themselves. We design, manufacture and service spreaders and custom lifting equipment for container handling. We supply the entire package for under your cranes.  Stinis operates two state – of – the – art manufacturing facilities, located in The Netherlands and Malaysia. The two facilities work closely together, operating in accordance with the same high engineering, production and quality standards. Both are fully ISO 9001 – certified. Since 2022, Stinis Malaysia has also been certified according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Our service engineers are also based there.
