Dear MDBC members,

The EU and Malaysia have resumed negotiations for the Malaysia – EU Free Trade Agreement (MEUFTA). It is therefore critical that the EU negotiates on terms that are relevant to members, the European industrial players.  As part of their role in bridging industry and government, EUROCHAM is coordinating a process of channeling the Free Trade expectations of industry towards the respective members of the negotiation team.  There is a survey in partnership with EU Delegation to gather insights on key business needs and challenges.  The invite to participate in the survey was sent to all members recently, which included information on the role members can play in this process, along with participation with various working groups.
