MDBC, together with Air Selangor, are happy to invite you to learn more about water management and treatment processes in Malaysia.

EMPOWERING WATER MANAGEMENT AND KNOWLEDGE

Join us for this half day program designed to provide you with an immersive, first – hand experience of water management and treatment processes in Malaysia.  The tour, organized by Air Selangor, aims to empower participants with a deeper understanding of the complexities and importance of sustainable water management.  The program includes a guided tour of a working water treatment plant, a briefing on water treatment technology and processes, and a Q&A session with industry experts.

Time: 08:30 – 13:00 hrs
Venue: Sungai Semenyih Water Treatment Plant, Presint 19, Putrajaya (TBC)
via Air Selangor shuttle service

Pick up: Tower E, Bangsar Trade Centre, Jalan Pantai Baharu
Dress Code: Smart Casual. 
* We recommend wearing jeans with a t – shirt.  Participants MUST wear covered flat shoes.  High heels and slippers / sandals are not allowed.

Since the water treatment plant is a restricted zone and food will be prepared, additional details are required along with regular registration information.  
Information required includes: Name, IC / Passport #, e – mail address, phone number, and dietary preference (vegetarian / non – vegetarian).

Program Objectives:
⭐ CREATE AWARENESS: Educate participants on the journey of raw water to a potable, consumer – ready product;
⭐ EMPOWER UNDERSTANDING: Provide a tangible and practical perspective on the critical role of water infrastructure;
⭐ FOSTER ENGAGEMENT: Facilitate a platform for dialogue and potential collaboration between the Dutch business community and Air Selangor;
⭐ HIGHLIGHT SUSTAINABILITY: Showcase the technologies and processes used to ensure a reliable and safe water supply for a growing population.

Itinerary:
08:30 hrs: Registration and assembly at Air Selangor.  (Depart to Sungai Semenyih Water Treatment Plant (TBC) via Air Selangor Shuttle Service.)
09:30 hrs: Arrival at Sungai Semenyih Water Treatment Plant (TBC)

10:00 hrs: Welcome Address by Air Selangor

10:30 hrs: Tour of the Water Treatment Plant
11:45 hrs: Presentation by Air Selangor

* To ensure a comfortable and seamless experience for all participants, all necessary safety equipment (e.g. hard hats, safety vests) will be provided for the tour portion of the program.
