TYTAN Technologies is scaling production of its AI – powered interceptors, enabling fast, autonomous air defense integrated into Europe’s layered missile systems.  TYTAN Technologies is scaling up its AI – powered interceptors across Europe, aiming to deliver the next generation of fast, autonomous air defense.  The Munich – based firm recently secured €46 million ($54.3 million) funding from Armira and the NATO Innovation Fund to expand manufacturing in Germany, Ukraine, and other European partners.  The ultimate goal is to advance integration into all layers of air defense, including modern missile – based systems.

“Europe is entering a once – in – a – generation reset in how air defense is designed, produced, and deployed,” TYTAN co-founders Balazs Nagy and Batuhan Yumurtaci said.

“This funding round is all about sustainably building the industrial and technological foundation for a sovereign, AI-enabled air defense architecture made in Europe for Europe.”

Established Defense Provider
TYTAN has previously worked with European allies to strengthen air defense, delivering thousands of METIS systems to Ukraine and developing AI – driven command-and-control networks for Germany.  The company works closely with governments and industry partners to enhance existing air defense structures while preparing for future threats.  Rising demand has pushed TYTAN to deepen supply chain ties with firms like HENSOLDT and KNDS, while bringing in experts from defense groups including Roketsan.

“TYTAN represents a new generation of European defense companies capable of combining operational experience with scalable industrial execution,” said Chris Badia, a former NATO general joining the company’s board.

“Its platform approach provides the needed capabilities for modern layered air defense and supports long – term defense programs across the continent.”
