Two meetings in a single afternoon, deliberately, the people side and the procurement side of the same institution. DCDS – M met the human resource arm to understand where the real training gaps are, and then met Ministry of Defence procurement to understand how a requirement actually travels from a need into a decision. Put together, these two conversations map both halves of the same picture, what people actually need, and how that need turns into something real. DCDS – M listened for where Dutch training depth could answer a genuine gap, and where the procurement path opens up down the line. Running both in a single day was efficient, and it said something too, that the coalition thinks in whole systems, not one door at a time. The result was a training pathway on one side and a clearer route to future requirements on the other, two solid openings out of one focused afternoon.
