Netherlands based DeltaQuad has signed an agreement with Estonian firm Meridein Group OÜ to expand access to its unmanned aerial systems across the Baltic region.
Centered on the deployment of the DeltaQuad Evo, a long – range vertical take – off and landing (VTOL) system, the agreement marks Meridein Group OÜ’s entry into the fixed – wing VTOL segment, expanding its portfolio.
Under the deal, Meridein will support customer engagement and market access for defense clients.
For DeltaQuad, the partnership provides local support to facilitate adoption and sustainment in a market where proximity and integration are increasingly important.
The collaboration is intended to improve the availability and integration of drone solutions through in-region support and training, while reducing reliance on external providers, as demand for European – built unmanned systems grows.
DeltaQuad Evo
DeltaQuad Evo has a maximum range of 270 kilometers (168 miles) and endurance of up to 4.5 hours.
The system supports a payload capacity of up to 3 kilograms (6.6 pounds).
It is configured to carry multiple payloads, allowing operators to combine sensors or mission equipment within a single flight, depending on requirements such as surveillance, mapping, or data collection.
From a structural standpoint, the airframe is built using composite materials, including carbon fiber and fiberglass.
This combination is intended to balance weight and durability, providing resistance to environmental stress while maintaining aerodynamic efficiency.
