MCF21 Q1: Digital Transformation

March 31, 2021 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Dear MDBC members,

Join us at the MDBC Connects Fair (MCF) 2021 Q1 as we introduce you to the MDBC Village and showcase the platform, which is a venue for visitors to find a wide variety of service providers under one (virtual) roof!  MCF also features special talks and this edition will shine a light on Malaysia’s Digital Economy with 27 Advisory Group.

Last month, the Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint was launched by the Prime Minister, to lay the foundation for the country’s transformation towards an advanced digital economy, and to accelerate Malaysia’s progress as a technologically – advanced economy.  MCF is the best opportunity to share with our members, some key points and steps on how your organization can implement a successful digital transformation.

The pandemic has accelerated the adoption of digital technologies and transformations for many organizations globally.  Many factors contribute to the successful implementation of an organization’s Digital Transformation (DX), which leverages on digital technologies and capabilities to enable growth, improved operational processes, and customer experience, to create new value.  Success in DX can also deliver many benefits in positioning organizations for the future and to be competitive.

Of similar importance, the 11th Malaysia Plan (RMK 11) highlights “Harnessing the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR)” as one of the strategies to promote innovation, creativity, and competitiveness of all sectors in embracing the intensification of the digital revolution.  Industry leaders and practitioners have to embrace change and openly explore the possible adaption of 4IR technologies into their business activities to fully unlock the potentials.  Technology advancement and revolution are inevitable, with proper adaption and implementation, a business or value chain can achieve significant improvement in productivity and quality.  However, the key to this goes back to government policies and strategies, which will be highlighted during the presentation.

So join the ‘Digital Hour’ where we’ll cover 4IR policies & strategies (related to the Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint) and Digital Transformation for success!
