MDBC and the Netherlands Embassy are ushering in 2023 with a New Year’s gathering for the Malaysian – Dutch Business Community on Monday, 16 January 2023 at the Heineken Tavern. As before, there will be an exclusive opportunity to get a behind the scenes tour of the Brewery.  So do join us for an evening of fun, laughter, and joy while enjoying a free flow of beverages such as the premium quality lager Heineken, Tiger, Guinness, Edelweiss, and Apple Fox Cider.

Registration is mandatory, on a first come, first served basis.  Limited spots are still available.  Kindly register asap. Registration will close once capacity has been reached.
All members may register one (1) representative, Gold and Premium Partner may register one (1) additional representative who will be placed on a wait list, to be confirmed based on space availability.  We regret that on this occasion there is no opportunity to register spouses, partners, friends, and business partners, not even at a fee. Walk – ins will not be accepted.  Please take note of the registration conditions listed below.

16:30 hrs: Arrival of guests for brewery tour*
17:00 hrs: Brewery tour starts*
17:55 hrs: Arrival of guests for networking
18:00 hrs: Networking begins
18:30 hrs: Welcome by MDBC, the Netherlands Embassy, and HEINEKEN
18:45 hrs: Dinner and networking
20:30 hrs: Last Call
21:00 hrs: End of Program
*Please note: Registration for the brewery tour is now closed as maximum capacity has been reached.  The tour is limited to 20 persons only.  Do remember to arrive early (16:30 hrs) for the tour!

PLEASE NOTE:
Due to ongoing construction works at the Sungei Way Brewery, there is a maximum number of guests that we can accommodate for this networking session, we therefore have to maintain the following registration regulations:

a) Registration is mandatory. Walk – ins cannot be accepted. 
HEINEKEN Malaysia practices strict entry requirements at their brewery; all visitors will be required to perform a COVID – 19 self test on site before entry to the Tavern. This requirement is in place as a safeguard to HEINEKEN Malaysia’s operational continuity, we thank the members for their understanding.

b) Upon registration submission, you will receive an automated reply of receipt.  This is NOT confirmation of your registration acceptance. You will also need to receive a personal e – mail from MDBC to confirm the acceptance of your registration; this will reach you latest by Friday, 13 January.

c) Registration will be on a first come, first served basis;

d) All membership levels may register one (1) representative only;

e) ONLY Gold Members and Premium Partners may add one (1) additional registration who will be placed on a wait list, to be confirmed on a space availability basis;

f) We regret that on this occasion there is no opportunity to register spouses, partners, friends, or business partners, not even at a fee;

g) While this event is free of charge for MDBC members, late cancellations (after Friday, 13 Jan (12 noon)) and no shows will be charged for this event at RM 150 nett per person.  Replacement / substitute participant(s) to avoid the no show charges are welcomed;

h) The reconfirmation will include  a map and further details on entering the premises.  Please note that very limited parking is available due to ongoing construction works at the carpark. Availability of a parking spot cannot be guaranteed.  All guests are encouraged to use public transport or e – hailing alternatives to get to and from the event safely and responsibly.

i) HEINEKEN Malaysia and MDBC are mindful of religious sensitivities; please note that alcoholic beverages can only be served to guests who are non – Muslims and above 21 years of age. Enjoy Responsibly, Do Not Drink and Drive. Non – alcoholic beverages including Heineken 0.0, Malta, and water will also be available for guests.
