Rizal van Geyzel, a Malaysian stand – up comedian of Dutch – Malay and Turkish heritage, is the pioneer of the country’s underground English stand – up comedy scene. He co – founded The Crackhouse Comedy Club in 2014, Malaysia’s first dedicated comedy venue. Since turning to comedy full – time in 2013, he has performed across 20 countries. Known for humor rooted in his multicultural heritage, his Edinburgh Fringe show Arrested received an astounding 4 – star review (one4review, UK). He has performed internationally in over 20 countries including the Melbourne and Sydney International Comedy Festival and been a consistent feature for the Kings & Queen of Comedy Asia in Singapore.
