In conjunction with ‘World Mental Health Day’, MDBC is proud to present our ‘Work & Mental Health Balance’ webinar on Thursday, 14 October.  We have a great line up of expert speakers to talk about mental health for your workforce team.

Find out how building a healthy culture in the workplace can lead to a stronger talent attraction and retention strategy.  You will also learn how to recognize signs of mental discomfort in oneself, best practices for supporting personal wellbeing, and how to build a healthy culture in the workplace.

Dr Tracie Gan (Chief Medical Advisor – Response Centre, International SOS)
Topic: First Aid for Emotions

Dr Tracie Gan is a certified Mental Health First Aider.  Her masterclasses aims to equip attendees with the knowledge of how to recognize the signs and symptoms of stress, anxiety, common mental health issues, and give them techniques to provide mental health first aid to affected individuals until professional help is made available.  Dr Tracie holds a Medical Degree in Medicine from the North Sumatera University, and has vast experience in trauma and emergency medicine.

Topic: Does Caring for Your Employees Drive Your Talent Attraction Strategy

Fahad has close to 10 years’ experience in the HR industry and specialises in technology recruitment. He matches highly – skilled and experienced technologists across all levels with leading firms to drive Malaysia’s innovation agenda.  Naeem also avidly keeps track and shares the latest developments in technology and employment with his clients and candidates.  In his remit as the Head of Operations in Randstad Malaysia, Naeem manages business strategies and finances, as well as local operations in talent recruitment.

Lim See Er (Client Development Consultant, Thomas International Asia Pacific) 
Topic: Technology and Its Impact on Stress and Anxiety

As the Client Development Consultant at Thomas International Asia, See Er commands in – depth knowledge of psychometrics and is responsible for providing product expertise and supporting the clients.  Her passion for people can be traced back to her previous role in teaching & learning.  She has a Master’s degree in Managerial Psychology and is one of the certified Mental Health First Aiders in Thomas International.
