We are excited to inform you that the MDBC Village continues to expand.  The upcoming virtual MDBC Connects Fair (MCF) Q3 is scheduled for Wednesday, 29 September and will feature booths for an additional 40 member companies, scheduled to go online on the day of MCF Q3.  Existing booths continue to be available in the Village, where access is free and open to all.  The MDBC Village provides an online, professional environment allowing visitors to drop in, contact new service providers, suppliers, and partners; We are ecstatic that our members’ participation is growing steadily.

As always, we have also scheduled an informative talk for MCF Q3.

Having teamed up with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), we are pleased to bring you a presentation on MDEC’s MyDigital Workforce Work in Tech (MYWiT) initiative.  MYWiT is very attractive to employers because the program is part of the Malaysian government’s effort to incentivize employers to hire unemployed Malaysians via digital re – skilling or upskilling, and to meet the strong demand for digital business services jobs, as well as higher value digital tech jobs.

This initiative supports companies hiring digital talent, through salary and training incentives.  MYWiT consists of: Digital Business Services (DBS) and Digital Tech Apprenticeship (DTA).
